IntelMark AS-W Series

The IntelMark AS-W series marks slabs, billets or blooms with high-temperature MCL metal tags.

MCL tags were introduced in the USA in 1983 for primary metals. They are stainless steel 0.2 mm thick with a ceramic layer that changes colour under a laser. Tags can carry text, barcodes, 2D codes and logos. They withstand up to 1200 °C and resist mechanical damage, weather, acids and alkalis.

The machine is built for the harsh environment of slab casting and finishing lines and can be placed on a compact footprint with a long reach, including on existing lines.
